Local Access Forums

Working to create enjoyable and accessible open-air recreation

Our Rating:

Local Access forums have been established in most local authorities in order to offer anyone, who uses or enjoys the countryside, the chance to have their say in how access to that precious resource should be protected and improved.

A Local Access Forum is actually comprised of a group of volunteers that utilise their knowledge and skills to provide guidance and advice to the authority on how to improve public access to open air leisure. Exactly what Local Explorer is about!!
